Volunteer Opportunities

February:  On Tuesday, February 26th the Livonia Jaycees will be packing care packages with Four Stars Military Family.  We will be meeting at George H. Pastor and Sons located at 34018 Beacon, Livonia, Michigan 48150 at 7 pm.  Care packages will be filled with food and hygiene products. If anyone would like to donate any items to include, please feel free to bring them with you. We will also be including notes from the Livonia Jaycees!

March: Member of the Livonia Jaycees will be helping at the Livonia Public Library's Read Across America event for Dr. Seuss' birthday on Friday, March 2nd at 1 pm. The library will have arts and crafts, games, and of course, birthday cake! 

  April: Please come and help us address the problem of weekend hunger in Livonia school children as we volunteer at Blessings in a Backpack on Tuesday, April 24th. Bags are packed at 7:00 p.m., at The Way Church located at 8900 Middlebelt Road, just North of Joy Road.  


May: On Sunday, May 20, the Livonia Jaycees will be at Claddagh in Livonia volunteering during the St. Baldrick's Shave-a-thon! Funds from this event are used to help fund pediatric cancer research. June: Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 we will be volunteering at the Livonia Spree 68 Beer Tents.  We will be there:

Saturday, June 23, 6-8:30 pm  and 8:30 pm-11 pm

Sunday, June 24 8:30-11 pm

October: Join the Livonia Jaycees and other Livonia Community Service Organization (LCSO) FORUM members on Saturday, October 20 from 9-11 am to pack 30,000+ meals. Two-thirds of these meals will be donated in and around Livonia by the “Livonia Cares” group and one-third donated to world hunger.
The LCSO FORUM partners with Kids Against Hunger, a non-profit humanitarian food aid organization, and St. Edith’s Church for this event.
