Annual Projects and Events

The Livonia Jaycee’s organize three large-scale events each year. Members can showcase and develop skills as member of planning committees and enjoy the results by attending with friends and family.
  • Murder Mystery Gala is a sell-out event and this year we are expanding our capacity from 250 to 500 attendees this year. In year’s past we have raised money for the Living and Learning Center, Seedlings Braille Books for Children, Livonia Kids and Families, Livonia community arts and the Livonia Library Teen Volunteer Council.
  • Livonia Bar Crawl is an opportunity to showcase and support local breweries and bars in a fun social outing.
  • ACTIVATE Small Business Conference is a partnership with the Redford Jaycee’s and hosted at Madonna University. This all-day event offers current and future entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn new skills at workshop, learn from industry experts and earn seed money from a pitch competition. A highlight of this event is the inclusion of high school students for a collaborative Shark Tank exercise and presentation.
The Livonia Junior Chamber is committed to building community and supporting local businesses. Throughout the year, the Jaycee’s organize Small Business Saturday events that support local and build comradery.
